Easter this year was so fun! We painted eggs with Grandma, and Brynlee had a blast! She colored her first one and then we undressed her and let her dye one too! She thought it was so cool which made it cool for me.
We didn't have anything to do one night so Spencer found out that the Dinosaur museum in Mesa was having an egg hunt! They hid little eggs with prizes everywhere for the kids to get, Brynlee colored a basket to carry them in, and she got to play and look at dinosaurs all night! Spencer was also in heaven.
We decided to not really do the Easter Bunny. We
would have him come, but since he can only come on Easter and that is a Sunday, we decided to have me fill up the basket and do it on Saturday morning. I think it will make my life easier as she gets older. We just never have to worry about it! And she loved her basket! She got some toys, an Anna barbie, some necklaces, a coloring book, and some chocolate. She was a pretty happy camper even though she didn't really understand what was happening. I'd say it was a successful Easter!
