Preganancy Update: 26 Weeks

23 Weeks with Brynlee (left) and with baby girl (right)

25 weeks with Brynlee (left) and baby girl (right)

26 weeks with Brynlee (left) and baby girl (right)
I feel like I am carrying way lower with this pregnancy which is why I think I am more uncomfortable.

How far along? 26 weeks!
How big is the baby? About 2 lbs and about 14 inches long
Maternity clothes? Yes! Broke out my maternity pants a few weeks ago and I am so much happier! I also got to go shopping with some Ross credit I had last week and came back with 3 new shirts! SCORE!
Sleep? Still sleeping ok now that I have my pregnancy pillow, but I am having more and more frequent potty breaks in the night, almost every single night I get up around 2:30.
Best moment this week? Baby girl responded to Spencer's voice last night! He kept talking to her and she would always kick right after he did. She loves her daddy :)
Symptoms? I have been feeling super dizzy and nauseous and I have a hard time focusing or even having the energy to move sometimes. I usually feel like I'm going to pass out. I talked to a nurse today and she told me that she thinks it's a blood sugar drop so I am going to start eating more protein snacks between meals and if that doesn't help we will look into me maybe being anemic.
Food cravings? SUGAR. With Brynlee I craved salty stuff (crackers, chips, etc) but with this baby I always want chocolate, ice cream, cookies....it's so bad. I also usually have a craving for a sub sandwich though, so that's random!
Food aversions? None...it's a problem.
Gender? Hopefully still a GIRL!
Labor signs? Braxton hicks every time I go up some stairs, but nowhere near labor yet!
Belly button in or out? It's almost out. It is the weirdest looking thing...
What I miss? Standing up and being able to walk without starting at a waddle. Also I miss my underwear fitting me, they are so tight on my belly now!
What I'm looking forward to? I have a doctor's appointment next week so I'm excited to check on baby girl! Also looking forward to officially finding baby's name! I think I almost have Spencer on board!
Milestones? Baby has started opening her eyes and practice breathing! She is also getting more cramped so I can start to identify parts of her body more regularly!
Bump? Yes. A large one. I feel so big sometimes like I can't stretch any farther, but I know better! I have 14 weeks to go but I can't wait to meet this girl!
I find myself doing this a lot putting my hand right at the top of my tummy. I can always feel her if I push down right on top and sometimes I can move her little leg from one side to the other. I love it so much! I love that there is a tiny human inside of me!

Brynlee's First Hair Cut 8-17-15

So Brynlee's hair has had a rough few months. She went from gorgeous-deep red-thick-blowing in the wind hair, to this weird wispy- light-mad scientist hair. At first I was worried, but it has started growing back so I felt better and decided to let it do its' thing. We went with Spencer to get his hair cut and my cousin Deanna was the one cutting it. I asked her if she would be ok just trimming and evening out Brynlee's hair too because it was like a comb over on top of the fresh hair. Brynlee sat so big and didn't move a muscle. It has since grown in quite a bit and I'm hoping we will be back in ponies in the near future!!

My Big Girl!

We Love Baby Andrew

Picking Up Logan

Brynlee talked about it for days and was so excited to get to the airport to pick Logan up! She wasn't so happy when she actually saw him, though, and wouldn't even look in his direction. We FINALLY got her to give him a high five right before we left. We are so excited to have him home!!

We had Logan's open house the next Sunday and from that night on, Brynlee has been talking about Logan, asking where Logan is, asking to go see Logan, talking about going to church with Logan, and the list goes on. At his house she kept asking where he was and would go find him and just sit there and say "Hi Logan!". She loves him. Guess you just have to let her warm up a bit. We love Logan!

Brynlee Catch Up: Breaking In the Two Year Old Thing

She calls to me, "Look mommy! I"m a bunny!"

Birthday Cupcakes at the Hons for July Birthdays!

Fun in the ball pit and dressing up like princesses!

She just gets so weird. She goes to the door and just lays there sometimes... who does that??

We got Pedicures together with aunt Whitley for Mommy's birthday/pre Andrew.

She loves to have daddy play with her hair at church.
The toy section at walmart is mommy's savior! She loved all of these little dogs and got them ALL off the shelf to make them all bark.

In Nursery they always trace her hand so she makes us do it every time we color.

One of the only pictures I got of her on her actual birthday. Classic.

We went swimming with the LeBaron's and somebody got a little tired of swimming and just wanted to rest. I about die every time I see this picture!

She doesn't really know how to handle herself when she gets tired....

Fun at the IDEA museum! Love this girl!

After the museum we had lunch with Daddy and gave him the picture she made! Her shifty eyes though....

Mom also found a good use for a box from Costco...hello BARBIE HOUSE and a good half hour of entertainment!

Brynlee has always loved the rain but this time it rained and I opened the glass door. She figured out how to open the screen door and spent a good 20 minutes throwing little pine needles into that water. She was in heaven!

Well that's ONE way to eat an ice cream sunday!

We had a mother daughter day while Daddy went to Indiana for the temple open house. We went to the movies and saw Minions (well, three bathroom breaks and 45 min of it before we called it).

After the movie we went to the mall and had pretzels, let Brynlee play, and got her some fun new necklaces and bracelets! She had fun at the mall.

Trying on Grandma's glasses. She's not supposed to touch them, but she looked so cute I had to take a picture before I reprimanded her...

I am shocked at how well she colors in the lines! I think my kid is a genius.

Swimming tuckered them out! Nothing like a nap with Grammy :)

Brynlee LOVED bowling! We went out with some friends and she loved to push the ball down the ramp and then come get a high five from EVERY person sitting there!

Modeling some of the new clothes we got from Tatum's old closet!

Brynlee loves the new puppies at Grammy's house! But they are a little rowdy for her so if she sits down they both tackle her and she doesn't like it so much. It's so freaking cute though!

She LOVED helping Grammy make bread the other day! And she looked like such a big girl!

Her other new favorite thing is making happy face pancakes at grandma's house! She wears her little apron, sits on the counter and helps grandma stir the batter.

There is just something about a baby with a shirt on their head that makes you forget all of the crummy things they have put you through that day and just smile.

The past month or so has been a rough one in our home, but it's starting to look up. We are officially binky free and only in diapers for naps and bed time! She is starting to understand how to say "Okay Mommy" instead of NO and she is starting to make better choices on her own. She is a whopping 25 pounds that feels like about 100 to this pregnant lady and she says a jillion words. She forms full sentences, can recall stories, and talks enough for 4 kids. We love her to death and we are grateful for the things she teaches us. Hopefully it will stay smooth sailing for a while to give us some time to recover!
*cough* YEAH RIGHT *cough*
