Pregnancy Update: 17 weeks

So I really haven't said anything about my pregnancy because I want it all to be in one post for now! SO! This pregnancy has been so different than my first. With Brynlee I was super sick for the first trimester and lost a ton of weight. With this one, I was not sick AT ALL but I was so so so tired. It might be a combination of working, having a toddler, not being able to nap, and being pregnant at the same time. That might do it.

We had our first ultrasound on April 27th and we got to see our little baby! So cute! We took Brynlee with us and she loved looking at the baby on the TV and holding the pictures once we were done. We decided not to tell the world yet, but I loved having those pictures up on my bulletin board.

Around 13 weeks I got really sick all of a sudden. Like throwing up multiple times a day, can't eat, can't move...it was weird. We were about to go camping and I couldn't take it any more so when my doctor called to give me the results of our NT scan (aka our SECOND ultrasound) I asked if there was anything she could give me for nausea because we were going out of town and I couldn't be sick anymore. She wrote me a prescription for Diclegis and it is a magical thing. Women. If you are pregnant and sick, get it. You take two little pills before you go to bed and you never ever get sick again. It's fantastic.

I started feeling baby kick on June 11th so at about 15 1/2 weeks! That is so much earlier than with Brynlee and I love feeling this baby kick. It mostly does it when my pants are too tight on my stomach or when I lay still in bed. Spencer still keeps trying to feel it but I think it might be a while.

Our next ultrasound is scheduled for July 14th (MY BIRTHDAY!) to do the anatomy scan and find out if this little thing is a boy or girl!!!!! I'm so excited!!! It is also cow appreciation day that day and I will most likely have it off work so it is going to be a really great birthday this year!

I have had weird cravings already. For a while, all I wanted was spaghetti and popcorn. Now it's carrots and ranch, and strawberries with my cream cheese fruit dip! I also couldn't eat chicken for a while...that was really weird if you know me!

I'm about at my same weight but it's because I lost some and have gained some back. Hopefully I can keep it under control!!

I already feel huge. I feel like you could actually tell I was pregnant at like 14 weeks which is a full 4-6 weeks earlier than my last pregnancy. It's nice, but it's weird. I don't feel like I should Look pregnant yet, but apparently that's not true!!

The First Blazing Summer Month and Our New Car

We got a new car!!! Our second car died a little over a month ago and we had been actively looking for and at cars for weeks. We finally found one that had super low miles, only one owner, and was the size we wanted. The only downside was it was in Tucson. We found it online and emailed them and apparently the car had only been on the website for like a couple hours before we found it and we were the first people to show interest! SCORE! It took us about a week to get everything taken care  of, including figuring out the loan situation which was a headache all in itself. On June 3rd we drove down to Tucson to pick up our new car! It's even better than we could have imagined!! We seriously love it! The bad part, the air kinda stopped working the day after we brought it back. We thought it was just because we never really drove anywhere that was far enough away to let the air get cold, and that it was 5,000,000,000,000* outside. It took us about two weeks of dying in the heat to take it in and they told us the compressor was broken. Great. We contacted the dealership and they said if we wanted them to help us at all we had to take it down for them to check it out and they could maybe do 50%. Spencer and Grandma took the car down to Tucson Friday and they said it for sure was the compressor and that it would be a $1500 repair. Uh. Yeah. We don't have even half of that. This is when our second SCORE comes in. They told us that they felt bad and covered the cost of the repair and fixed it that day! PRAISE THE HEAVENS. So we got our car back with AC and one less headache. Now we love our car even more because we have air :).

She pooped in her bed. Took her diaper off. Stood there. And pooped.

She is super into saying "I'm cold" and "Nice and cozy". It's so cute.

Katy was with us for a while and she was sick. We went to Walmart and Brynlee just kept cuddling her trying to make her feel better.
I got to throw Whitley a baby shower and it was so fun! We did sports themed for baby Andrew and had tons of yummy snacks and the nastiest looking guess this sweet mess game you will ever see. It was awesome! Whit got tons of cute stuff and now we just have to wait until he makes his debut! I will finally be an aunt!!

The only way I could get her to go to bed the night before was to promise her she could ride the horses at kids club the next day!

These were while we were waiting at the car place for Grandma Hon to pick us up. She's so silly.

She dragged her chair in from the living room to sit by me while I work :)
We also watched Ezra, Rigdon, and Lucy one night while Amy took the big kids to a drive in movie. It was crazy! But so fun! They came over at 6:45. We took them all swimming and it was totally fun and not scary, they all had dinner, and then played until 11:45 when they got picked up. I definitely don't want quadruplets though...

 Brynlee + pudding = adorable

We altered this dress for Preston and Jenessa's wedding! It turned out amazing and it is my very favorite dress now!!! :)

Preston and Jenessa's wedding was so fun...but it has taken me about three days to recover. Saturday morning we made it to the sealing with about one minute to spare before the guests of honor were brought in. It was a beautiful ceremony and I loved being in the temple with family. Afterwards we took pictures outside and that was the worst. It was so stinking hot that we were all drenched in sweat and in just kept pouring from every sweat gland the body has. But we made it! We had the luncheon and by that time my feet hurt so bad I couldn't keep my heels on any longer. There was yummy food, some cute games for the couple, and a sweet video from Hunter that totally made me cry. After the luncheon we went to Walmart to pick up a bunch of stuff! Apparently I was in there for a long time because Brynlee had time to fall asleep and wake up screaming! So no more nap for that day. And Spencer had to get something done for his parents but it wouldn't work at our house so we had to go to his parents to finish it. So no nap for me either! We went to the reception at 6 to take family pictures and were there until after 9. It was really fun! But Brynlee was crazy running around so I was happy when my mom and dad came and offered to take her for the rest of the night! It gave us the chance to get the car done and visit a bit before they brought her back! I kind of took over as director of the reception because we didn't have a mic. and nobody was doing it. I announced the first dance, cutting the cake, and the bouquet toss! It was a pretty reception and we only had once instance of tears where Brynlee got poked in the head by Hayden's boutonniere pin. Twice. Poor girl was so tired and then that. Let's just say she fell asleep on the way home! My feet killed, I was so tired, but I am so happy for these two and it really was a fun day!!!

And guess what folks...I'M CAUGHT UP!! Now hopefully I can stay that way :) I really want to document our lives and this pregnancy as well as I did with Brynlee.

May Came and Went 2015

My uncle John got really sick and so my aunt and cousins were back in town for a while. Brynlee and Lucy are so cute together and we took them all to the park to play!

Her little sleeping face is so cute!
We discovered the kiddie cone at McDonalds. 30 Cents and just enough ice cream for a toddler.

They thought this was the coolest fort ever....I'll take it! Tatum ran in screaming "I'm so happy!!!!"

Spencer had something weird happen to his heart so we took him to the emergency room. It was a weird night and everything came back ok but he was not happy about the IV.

We didn't last long at Seminary Graduation...

Brynlee started Swimming lessons!
She hated them. She screamed the first two days but then she started loving them! By the end of her 4 weeks she could actually swim, grab the wall, float on her back with some help, and loved the water! I'm so glad I did it. It makes swimming so much easier now because she knows how her body moves in water so she doesn't always make me think she is going to drown.
We always let her jump on the trampoline after she swam. It was her favorite part. And the Ice Cream afterwards.

We went camping! Brynlee had the time of her life! We borrowed my grandpa's RV and drove up to forest lakes. She seriously couldn't have been happier. The bad part was that I was super sick the whole time and we actually had to come home early because I got a really bad fever. Luckily we had some worthy priesthood holders there and they gave me a blessing!
