Utah Bound

We left home for Utah at 8:30 pm on Thursday night. We were driving through the night on our way up to conference. I took the first shift and drove until about 11 something. Spencer took over and he drove until about 4. That's when I took over and finished out the home stretch! It was not a terrible drive, but we did end up getting pulled over (on Spencer's turn...and he didn't even get a ticket!), stopping at a Game Stop at midnight so Spencer could get the new Super Smash  Bros for his DS, and didn't get much sleep. Brynlee did really well. She fell asleep right as we were leaving and was only up from like 12-2 while we were driving through Vegas. She didn't make one peep though, which we were very grateful for.

We pulled into Provo around 9 and headed for the Beazer's. We were both really tired and kinda conked out. I slept sleeping up in a chair, Brynlee crashed on the ground while she was playing, and Spencer snoozed on the couch. Once Celeste got home we decided to go to the duck pond. Spencer was still really tired so we went without him. It was so fun! The ducks got so close to us! Which was fun...until one bit my toe because I wasn't tearing the bread fast enough. Brynlee wasn't sure what to think. She like them until they got all up in her grill. It was so fun to watch Jackson playing with her. He took her all around and didn't even seem to notice he wasn't her same age :)

We went to wake Spencer up for dinner...but it wasn't as easy as we thought!

Spencer couldn't get ready quite fast enough so we hung out at the Beazer's until we met up later and apparently Brynlee needed another nap because she just crashed...AGAIN!

We had dinner with Grant and Danielle that night and then headed back to the Beazers to sleep. We got up and went to SLC the next morning to pick up Gram and go to the afternoon session of conference. We met up with a good friend of Spencer's from his mission. She is one of my favorite people I have met from his mission. And she is an awesome cook! 

We went to conference with her and then we went to Deseret Book to wait for the rest of the ladies for ladies' night. Spencer and Preston went to watch the priesthood session and us girls drove around forever trying to find a place to eat. We ended up eating at this really yummy Mexican restaurant and then meeting back up with the boys to go home. We had to make a stop at the ORIGINAL Iceburg and get ice cream and we had to stop by WalMart to get groceries for breakfast in the morning. 

The next morning we woke up and made a big yummy breakfast with Grant and Danielle. Seriously...we ate so much. It was SO GOOD. We loved spending time with them and getting to kiss on little baby Sadie all day! This was the most fun, relaxing day of talking, playing games, and laughing! So glad to have such good family around.

We left around 4 I think and we got home at about 2 am. It was such a fun trip! On our way home we stopped at the Maverick that we stopped at when we were coming home from our Utah trip before Spencer and I were even dating! I had some random guy take our picture. How could we not?? So glad I get to keep having memories with this boy.
